Sister Clifford: Week #19 in Alabama: "Sometimes change is HARD, but GOOD"

Sister Clifford: Week #19 in Alabama: "Sometimes change
is HARD, but GOOD"
HI FRIENDS & FAM!!!
How is everyone
doing? I miss and love you all so much. I hope you are all doing well.
This week was CRAZY.
We had transfers and cute Sister Oscarson went home! It was so sad saying bye
to her. She is amazing and will do amazing things. I am grateful for the
opportunity I had to be her companion for 4 months. She taught me so much!!! I
love her!
SO transfers were
on Wednesday and my new companion is SISTER WILKINSON and she is such a cutie.
Such a diligent and steadfast missionary. Heavenly Father blessed me with such
awesome companions ;) I am lucky! I have learned so much from her already.
These past couple of days have gone by SO FAST. Time is such a crazy thing.
I love being a
missionary during this time of year. Christmas time is amazing and being a
missionary helps you to remember what this season is all about, the birth of of
our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love teaching people about Him and how He can bless
their lives eternally.
This week has
definitely been a tougher week, but also so amazing. Change is HARD. BUT I made
a goal to just keep going, one step at a time. As a missionary, it is important
to talk to everyone you see and that has been my goal. It has been amazing to
talk to all different kinds of people and to be able to talk about their faith
and their love for God and Jesus Christ. The people in the South are such
amazing examples of faith and they love God so much. In these 5 months, I have
learned so much from each one of them.
This week we
worked HARD. SO HARD. It honestly was exhausting, but felt so great at the same
time. Some of the best moments as a missionary happen when you just keep moving
forward, no matter what. I've realized that that can apply to many things in
life as well. Sometimes there will be moments when we feel weak, wounded and
like we need to give up, BUT Heavenly Father wants us to keep moving forward no
matter what. There is so much good and happiness behind all of those trials and
hardship. JUST KEEP GOING.
We have been so
blessed this week and we have been able to meet with so many of our
investigators. So many amazing lessons, filled with such a strong spirit. WE
ALSO HAVE THE BEST NEWS EVER!!! We invited our investigator Lee to Baptism and
she said YES!!! We also invited Megan and she said YES TOO!!!! Talk about
amazing. The spirit was incredible and it was such a good week. Working hard is
definitely worth it.
I have learned so
much this week. One of the main lessons is to just keep going. Heavenly Father
will bless us and take good care of us. I am happy. Alabama sure is a great
place ;) ROLL TIDE!!!
I love you all and I
hope everyone is doing amazing! Always remember that we can ALL DO HARD
THINGS!!! Just keep moving forward.
“But the Lord
knoweth all things from the beginning; wherefore, he prepareth a way to
accomplish all his works among the children of men; for behold, he hath all
power unto the fulfilling of all his words. And thus it is. Amen.”
—1 Nephi 9:6
I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas!!!
all my love,
